Today, family-targeted marketing agency Steel Branding announced the addition of two senior-level executives to the Steel family, Nancy George and Nada Saidi Smith. George joins as a group account director who will be managing key client relationships, while Smith joins the team as an interactive director who will be overseeing the strategic planning and execution of the agency’s interactive projects.
George comes to Steel as a seasoned advertising and marketing veteran with more than 20 years of agency experience leading account service departments. She brings experience from clients such as Texas Oncology, Rolling Stone, McDonald’s, Pepsi, Pennzoil, US Weekly, and Land Rover. Smith also has more than 20 years of experience as a marketing professional with extensive experience in B2B and B2C landscapes, including product and campaign strategy and integrated marcom. She has worked for clients such as Balfour, Sybase, American Cancer Society, McLane Company, and Austin Children’s Shelter.

George’s most recent experience was at HCB Health Advertising and Marketing, where she oversaw and led the consumer accounts division of the agency and was instrumental in new business development and client growth. She also has extensive experience in various positions, such as vice president and group account director at GSD&M and vice president of client services at Young & Rubicam and Tocquigny Advertising + Design.
Smith hails from Young & Rubicam in Austin, where she most recently worked as vice president, account services. At Y&R, she led the account service and human resources departments and oversaw process improvements and resource management.
